Leaders in Playground Accessibility – Accessibility is an inseparable part of our vision. We believe that every visitor to the playground deserves the right to play, enjoy, and grow in a safe and inclusive environment. Psagot is proud to lead the field of accessible playgrounds, with dozens of groundbreaking projects designed to accommodate children and caregivers in wheelchairs.
Expansion into International Markets and Membership in IPEMA – Driven by our desire to share our expertise, creativity, and innovation with wider audiences, we expanded into various global markets. This was our opportunity to show the world our ability to combine unique design, high safety standards, and unforgettable play experiences. As part of this expansion, we became proud members of IPEMA – the International Play Equipment Manufacturers Association. This membership demonstrates our compliance with the highest standards of safety and quality and connects us with the global community leading the play industry.
We received the prestigious Red Dot Award for Product Design – a major and emotional milestone for us. In 2020, we did it again, winning the GOOD DESIGN Award, which recognizes excellence and innovation in industrial design. These awards prove that creativity, innovation, and attention to detail truly make a difference. For us, these were not just awards – they were international recognition of our passion for designing exceptional play experiences that merge advanced design with functionality. These wins continue to inspire us to push boundaries and create play structures that never cease to surprise.
Expansion into Extreme Parks, Water Attractions, and Professional Ziplines – Over time, we broadened our scope beyond classic playgrounds and entered the world of extreme parks, water attractions, and professional ziplines. Our vision was to create powerful and exciting experiences not only for children but for all ages. Each such project allows us to combine challenge, fun, and top-tier safety, continuing to innovate in dynamic and adventurous environments.
Entering the World of Musical Play Equipment – Understanding that play is much more than physical movement, we decided to introduce musical equipment to our offering. We wanted to create spaces that invite children and adults to explore, play, and express themselves through sound and rhythm. Our musical instruments are tuned to notes, allowing for accurate melodies and high-quality musical experiences. They develop auditory and coordination skills, while encouraging creativity, collaboration, and social connection through enriched play.
A Leap in Design and Play Experience – We continued to enhance the play experience with a strong focus on variety, creativity, and innovation. Our structures became taller and more challenging, incorporating advanced materials that improved durability and safety. The designs evolved with distinctive lines and layouts that invited children to explore, climb, and discover new worlds.
Integrating Materials like Wood, Steel, and Rope – We began combining natural wood, sturdy steel, and dynamic ropes to create rich, diverse play experiences. This blend resulted in safe, durable, and visually striking structures. The unique material mix not only enhanced the aesthetics but also deepened the sense of adventure and variety in every playground.
From Small Gardens to Large Public Spaces – In our early years, we focused on creating play equipment for preschools and daycare centers, tailored to early childhood developmental needs. As we grew, we expanded into larger public spaces, designing equipment for a wide range of ages and audiences. This transition allowed for more complex and engaging playgrounds, while staying true to our principles of safety, creativity, and fun.
The Founding of Psagot Playgrounds – Our journey began with Aryeh Peles, who dreamed of creating playgrounds that blend safety, creativity, and skill-building. From day one, it was clear that the goal was not just to build equipment, but to design play experiences that spark imagination, movement, curiosity, and cooperation. Aryeh's vision, which still guides us today, is rooted in the belief that play is a central force in child development. We are committed to creating diverse, enriching, and safe play environments that accompany generations of children on their journey into a world of adventure and discovery.
