An Inclusive Playground for All in Modiin
We’ve created a fully accessible playground in Modiin for local residents and nearby communities, designed to encourage inclusive play between children of all abilities.
At the heart of the playground is a large, integrated play structure featuring five single-story towers connected by a long wheelchair-accessible ramp. There's also a cutting-edge, inclusive swing specifically designed for wheelchair users.
This swing is truly unique – it can be used either while standing or seated in a wheelchair, and it's shaped like a spaceship, symbolizing a bold leap beyond the familiar.
Developed with a groundbreaking design, this swing is the only one in Israel that complies with public playground safety standards without requiring a fenced-off area.
It features a special moving floor mechanism that allows users to swing using hand or pelvic movement – making it fun and empowering for all visitors, including those in wheelchairs, to play together naturally.
The park also includes musical play elements, a tilted spinning disk, a variety of swings, and more.
