Client Requirements The client requested an inviting, nature-oriented play area for preschool ages—one that would support varied movement, climbing, sliding, balancing, and transition activities without overcrowding the yard. Priorities included simple lines, natural materials, and equipment durable enough for daily use over many years. Planning Stage The yard features a single-level play tower with a shaped roof, slide, ladder, and assorted climbing and play elements. Complementary pieces for balance, traversal, and low-level climbing—crafted from natural robinia wood—were placed nearby, harmonizing with the other yard components. Shade canopies maintain comfortable conditions even during hot summer days. Design Approach The design follows principles of simplicity, natural aesthetics, and integration with the surroundings. The robinia structures retain a clean, soft, non-industrial look that suits young children and supports independent play with a sense of safety. Warm wood tones combined with green and orange poured-in-place rubber surfaces create a friendly, welcoming atmosphere.
