This project focuses on playground planning and construction centred around a castle-themed play structure that defines the experience of the space. Slides and a rope bridge extend the activity beyond the main structure, encouraging movement, climbing, and natural transitions between play elements. Throughout the playground design and construction process, Psagot Playgrounds worked to create a clear and well-organised play environment that supports daily public use and long-term durability. The project was developed with the involvement of an architectural office and executed with attention to safety, clarity, and municipal operational needs.

About the Project and the Process
Highlights/Uniqueness of the Project
The playground is organised around a central castle structure that serves as both a visual anchor and a functional core. The integration of slides and a rope bridge creates a varied play experience that combines physical activity with imaginative play. The overall layout supports intuitive movement within the space and offers a balanced solution for public environments, reflecting Psagot Playgrounds’ approach to playground design and construction for municipalities.
The client requested a public playground with a clear visual identity and a strong central element. The design needed to support a wide range of ages, encourage active and imaginative play, and rely on materials suitable for outdoor use. Ease of maintenance and long-term durability were also key considerations, aligning the project with municipal requirements.
During the design phase, the castle structure was defined as the main organising element of the playground. Slides and the rope bridge were positioned to create a continuous and readable play sequence. As part of the playground planning and construction process, attention was given to circulation, safety considerations, material selection, and compliance with relevant standards. Collaboration with an architectural office supported the development of a clear and reliable design for public-sector use.
The design concept draws on the familiar imagery of a castle to encourage imaginative play, while maintaining a clean and structured visual language. HDPE panels are combined with rope elements and slides to form a cohesive play environment. The result is a playground that integrates naturally into its surroundings and reflects Psagot Playgrounds’ approach to thoughtful playground planning and construction for municipalities.
